The Background
Business intelligence – AI Sydney’s previous sector – was a noisy, crowded space that didn’t suit the direction of the vibrant, passionate team we kept trying to promote. BICG (Business Intelligence Consulting Group) – Now AI Sydney – just didn’t roll off the tongue, so we decided to change tact and go for something a little more palatable – changing more than just the name.

BICG (Business Intelligence Consulting Group) – Now AI Sydney – just didn’t roll off the tongue, so we decided to change tact and go for something a little more palatable – changing more than just the name.
Our Solution
Sydney Digital helped create a new company for a new, less competitive ‘space’.
After a 3 hour boardroom and Q&A session, A WOAH-DIRECTION EMERGED. The AI market was the up and coming space to play, without all the noise and Lunch-stealing competitors. After a quick domain search for AI Sydney – and indeed all Australian cities – the SDM team revamped the brand, quickly delivering a new logo and website to usher in a new focused company – AI Sydney.
Taking the brand to market meant generating huge exposure, fast. Sydney Digital did this by holding an event at the ICC in Sydney’s prestigious darling harbour. Originally intended as a small gathering at Sydney Digital’s office in Barangaroo, the 50-person event exploded into a 400-person sensation – with a knock-on effect that created more events in Brisbane, Darwin and Hobart. The team have since been approached by a number of investors across Australia.
Crafting AI Sydney and its future orientated outlook, meant more than just creating a new website – incisive copywriting, event promotion through our “Eventbrite” page, automated email and astute Social Media and Google Display Network Advertising also formed part of the marketing mix.
