We were stoked to get a knock on the door from ADMA (The Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising), being the principal industry body for data-driven marketing and advertising. ADMA is also the ultimate authority and go-to resource for effective and creative data-driven marketing across all channels and platforms, providing insight, ideas and innovation for today’s marketing industry.

It is the largest marketing and advertising association in Australia, with over 600 corporate members including major financial institutions, telecommunications companies, energy providers, leading media companies, travel service companies, airlines, major charities, statutory corporations, educational institutions and specialist suppliers to the industry including advertising agencies, software and internet companies.

ADMA partnered with Sydney Digital Marketing Agency after several disappointing agency relationships where Return on Investment was very difficult to achieve. The brief was simple – we have 6 months to deliver a positive ROI.

After rebuilding their Adwords campaign and introducing Facebook and LinkedIn marketing the results were again knocked out of the park. A 66% increase in results that translated into additional revenue streams in excess of $100,000 rom channels that SDM introduced.

AI Sydney is particularly close to the heart of SDM as we helped name, brand and launch the company after having worked with the client in previous branding around business intelligence. After competing in a noisy, crowded space where BICG (Business Intelligence Consulting Group) was finding it hard to differentiate itself – we decided a change in direction was needed.

More than just a change in direction emerged, after a 2 hour boardroom session with the directors of BICG and the senior team at SDM – we decided the AI market would be a better space to play in. After a quick domain search we found that AI Sydney was available, as was AI Australia, AI Brisbane, AI Darwin etc. The SDM design team revamped the brand, delivering a new logo and website to boost their online presence.

The next step was to take the AI Brand to market which we did by holding an event at the ICC in Sydney’s darling harbour. Originally intended for just 50 people at the SDM office in Barangaroo the promotion of the event was so successful we had to move it to the ICC at Sydney’s Darling Harbour. Over 350 people attended the event which was followed up with a similar event in Brisbane, Darwin and Hobart, with more planned for 2018 in capital cities across Australia. The team at AI have since been approached by a number of large investors looking to get on board. #goteam

When Studylane approached Sydney Digital Marketing in September 2016 they were looking fro support to generate leads and enquiries from students living in India, Nepal, Thailand and the other countries across the sub continent. Like many of our clients they were running their own digital campaigns in house but weren’t achieving the results they needed in terms of leads and enquiries, let alone return on investment – an SDM speciality.
